The Clippers have finally realized they are no competition in the West & seem to be looking to hit the reset button.
Better late than never I guess.
In trading Blake Griffin to Detroit for an impressive group of role players, the Clippers will be unloading the monster five-year, $171 million contract that would’ve plunged them into salary cap purgatory for years to come, & hopefully inserts them as major players in what could be a loaded free-agency summer; led by LeBron James.
One former Clipper doesn’t think the team jettisoned the right piece though.
