The Vikings suffered a devastating 38-7 loss last Sunday in Philadelphia as they missed the opportunity to host a Super Bowl in front of their hometown crowd. Three days after the loss, Vikings QB Case Keenum discussed how classless Eagles fans were to his family.
Keenum told Justin Gaard of KFAN 100.3 in Minneapolis about some incidents regarding Eagles fans and family members of his. He wouldn’t elaborate on specifics but said that they weren’t good at all.
“It was tough,” said Keenum. “I’m not gonna tell you any stories. There was some situations that were not good. I’m glad I had some of my friends there to intercede. It was tough on everyone, not just us on the field.”
Throughout NFC Championship Game weekend, numerous incidents were reported about disgusting actions by Eagles fans. The first incident that occurred was a fight between Eagles fans and a police officer riding a horse. Others include Eagles fans throwing beer cans at Vikings fans walking into Lincoln Financial Field and throwing beer cups at Minnesota’s team bus following the conclusion of the game.
