A strange story is emerging from Texas as a woman murdered her husband and used his coworker as a coverup. Sandra Louis Garner was charged in the murder.
On January 2, Garner killed her husband John with a .38-caliber bullet. Maypearl Police Chief Boyd Norton detailed how she covered up the murder. He said that Sandra woke up to a man shooting a gun inside her home. She would go on to say that he took $18,000 from their safe and said that he would not hurt her. He then proceeded to kill her husband. She then made the claim that the robber told her to hide inside their bathroom and count to 100 so he would have enough time to flee the house. She said that the motive of the man’s murder was a work-related dispute.
Maypeal Police would investigate the crime scene again on January 5. They found a .38-caliber Taurus pistol and two plastic bags in a Ford Mustang. The gun was tested at the Texas Department of Public Safety and it matched the bullet used to kill her husband.
Police busted Sandra while she was in custody. They searched all electronics in her home and saw that there was a computer search for “How to kill someone and not get caught.”
