Miami is known as Wade county for a reason.
The Parkland HS terrorist attack that took the lives of seventeen people, & hurt many more isn’t at all a positive story; but you have to admit, when you see a family who’s dealing with unimaginable loss choose an athlete’s jersey to be buried in, watching that athlete’s reaction to that news can make even the toughest fans choke up a little.
Dwyane Wade spoke to the media after being notified that 17-year old victim Joaquin Oliver’s family chose to make Wade’s famed Heat jersey the last thing their son would ever wear:
