The Cleveland Cavaliers have been speculated of attempting to make some moves at the trade deadline to get back in the driver’s seat in the Eastern Conference. The Cavs have been at the hands of some very bad losses this season and a mid-season trade may be the answer to switch gears and compete with the likes of the Celtics and Raptors in the East.
Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported last week that the Cavs would not be open to trading their first round pick. This was originally the Brooklyn Nets’ pick but received through the Kyrie Irving trade. The Cavs are now making this draft pick available if the result benefits them long term.
