Cowboys Cornerback Orlando Scandrick’s days in Dallas look like they may be numbered. Vice President Stephen Jones has come out saying that the team are exploring options of letting Scandrick go but he will always try to get value for a player as opposed to letting them walk with getting nothing in return.
David Helman of DallasCowboys.com said that Jones and the Cowboys are weighing their options regarding Scandrick.
“Those are all things we take a look at,” said Jones. “We haven’t made that decision. We haven’t made any decision final at this point. Those are all things that go into the mix. You’d always like to trade anybody before you cut them. I’d rather get something than nothing, every time.
Stephen Jones was asked today if potentially moving Byron Jones to CB might prompt the Cowboys to part ways with Orlando Scandrick, whether via cut or trade. His answer was more of a non-answer than anything else #cowboyswire pic.twitter.com/96DbH68twB

In 2018, Scandrick only had 38 combined tackles. He has been with the Cowboys since the team drafted him in 2008.
