White supremacists continue to try to act bold in today’s America. Robert Morris, a 54-year-old white man of Calumet, Illinois, was charged with two counts of a felony hate crime after he called a black woman and her son n****** at a bus stop and threatened to slit the woman’s throat, per the Chicago Sun-Times.
Prosecutors said that the incident stemmed from Morris approaching the woman and her son and said “Shut your f****** mouth you black b****.” He went on to say that he would slit her throat and knock her out. Morris also flipped the bench over that her 12-year-old son was sitting on. Morris had a knife on him.
Morris was denied bond in court as Judge David R. Navarro said he poses a threat to the community.
In times where racism and other forms of bigotry are swept under the rug, it’s not surprise that this idiot had the courage to do this in public. Hopefully he stays locked up for a long time.
