Young Dolph was able to avoid going to jail during a Sunday traffic stop in Los Angeles. Him and three friends were stopped by police and he was the only one to not be in posssession of any firearms, per TMZ.
Dolph was not the driver of the vehicle. Once him and his team were detained, he was free to go immediately.
Dolph’s team carrying guns is something that shouldn’t come as a surprise as he has been a targeted man over the past year. Last February, his bulletproof SUV was shot at 100 times in Charlotte. Many believed this incident to be related to Dolph’s beef with fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti. Gotti’s CMG labelmate Blac Youngsta turned himself in in May due to being charged for the shooting but was quickly released. Last fall, Dolph was shot in Los Angeles but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.
Dolph has addressed these shootings on numerous projects such as his ‘Bulletproof’ album last spring along with the EP he released last week titled ‘N***** Get Shot Everyday.’
