Details on Dana White Preparing to Offer Heavyweight Champ Anthony Joshua a $500 Million Boxing Contracts

Dana White is looking to enter the boxing arena with a bold move.  According to ESPN, the White is preparing to offer a multi-fight deal with the undefeated Anthony Joshua worth $500 million.

Joshua is set to face Joseph Parker in a heavyweight title unification bout on March 31st.  Currently, Joshua is under contract with Eddie Hearn, promoter for Matchroom Boxing, and seems open to the possibility of working with White, but only if Hearn is on board with it as well.

Listen, I’m riding with Eddie. I’ve been riding with Eddie. He got me from the get-go,” Joshua said. “I’m not into the UFC, so I don’t know what their plans are. … I’m interested because we can all work together. Remember, mine and Eddie’s relationship is a really good working relationship. And I’m sure Eddie has an interest in working with Dana White. If it’s good business, it makes sense.

Hearn echoed those sentiments.

If Dana White wants to speak to us, obviously Anthony is with us, we’re willing to talk to anybody,” Hearn said on Wednesday night’s media call. “We do great business with everyone — Bernd Boente, Duco Events. I work with Top Rank, Golden Boy, Al Haymon. We work with anyone if the business is right

Anthony Joshua is one of the biggest names in boxing.  Dana White entering the boxing arena with Joshua as his first signing would be a big splash.
