President Trump might have set himself up again.
After Trump moved the lawsuit against Stormy Daniels from state to federal, her lawyer Michael Avenatti will use this to his advantage and ask for Trump’s deposition by this summer per TMZ reports. A federal judge is more than likely to make Trump sit under oath for a deposition than a state judge.
Questions that will be asked are not about the affair entirely but on the $130,000 Daniels received to keep quiet. Other things on Avenatti’s list to discuss with Trump while under oath is who directed the payment and if he had knowledge that Daniels was threatened if she spoke about their affair.
Trump will have to spill the beans if he doesn’t want to go out like former president Bill Clinton who was impeached for lying under oath.
