Once again it’s that time of year that every college basketball fan around the country has been waiting for. March Madness is exactly one week away from tipping off. However, this year’s broadcast of the NCAA Tournament bracket will be different.
The field of 68 will be revealed in the first ten minutes of the two-hour broadcast on Sunday. After the schools are announced alphabetically by conference, the brackets and pairings will be unveiled by regions per Nicholas Parco.
The live bracket broadcast will also be on a different channel this year, airing on TBS for the first time since CBS and Turner Sports partnered on NCAA Tournament coverage in 2011. Despite these changes, executives of CBS and Turner have confirmed that the entire bracket will be revealed in forty-five minutes.
