I lived in Miami for many years and I can say with confidence that these types of incidents are not uncommon. Cell phone video captured the aftermath of an Infiniti SUV crashing into several cars, and the driver trying to escape. Several drivers tried to remove the hit and run driver from his vehicle as he tried to get away but were unsuccessful, and suddenly a man pulls out a sledgehammer and starts to break out the windows of the severely damaged SUV.
