Two Northern California women were arrested after using mace on an employee that attempted to stop them from stealing a huge stash of lingerie.
Fox 40 in Sacramento reports that Blanca Quintero and Antanae Welch were arrested in Folsom after they tried to leave a local Victoria’s Secret with two big bags of lingerie worth approximately $11,000 dollars. During their botched escape, Quintero attempted to pepper spray the employee. Police were able to track down the duo after they were given a description of their vehicle.
The duo currently faces charges of theft and conspiracy. Authorities are additionally charging Quintero with using tear gas to commit a crime and Welch with possession of counterfeit after finding a fake $100 bill during their investigation.
