Ronda Rousey recently made the switch from the UFC to WWE and fully committed herself by signing a full-time contract earlier this year. Many are wondering if the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion will set foot into the octagon ever again.
Rousey’s last UFC appearance was a quick KO loss to current women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes well over a year ago per Mookie Alexander. While many have assumed that it was likely the last time Rousey would ever compete inside the Octagon, Rousey fans still have the hope of a return.
Ellen DeGeneres asked what were the odds of Rousey, considered one of the biggest mixed martial arts stars competing in the UFC.
“I don’t know [if I’ll return to the UFC],” said Rousey. “I think it’s just as likely as me going back to another Olympics for judo. No one demanded a written resignation from me for judo and I don’t really think the same thing is necessary for fighting. I’m just doing what I enjoy and WWE is what I enjoy right now.”
