It was expected that Tekashi69 would be in attendance at Barclays Center last weekend for the Adrien Broner-Jessie Vargas fight last weekend after his highly publicized beef with Broner on social media. He was in the building but his altercation didn’t occur with Broner’s team, but with fellow Brooklyn rapper Casonova.
69 and Casanova’s crews started to exchange heated words backstage and started pushing and that’s when the groups fled after a member of 69’s entourage fired a gun shot in the air. 69 did cooperate with police when asked about the incident.
Barclays Center has had enough of 69 as he is banned and will not perform at the upcoming Soulfrito Fest, according to TMZ. 69’s manager Tr3way is also suspected of being involved with the Barclays shooting along with another one earlier that day in Brooklyn.
