Conor McGregor was arrested on assault charges for damaging a UFC bus at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this week and looked like it stemmed from his beef with Khabib Nurmagomedov. While this incident gave UFC a horrible look, President Dana White has decided not to punish McGregor.
White swept the bus attack under the rug by saying that UFC follows its fighters every week and incidents like that happen behind the scenes. He went on to say that it was very public and part of UFC embedded.
As we’ve seen with this bus attack incident, any publicity is good publicity for Dana White and UFC. It’s evident with the lack of punishment for McGregor.
