Seahawks Sign QB Who’s Never Thrown A Pass In NFL After Canceling Colin Kaepernick’s Workout

The Seahawks cancelled their visit with Colin Kaepernick this week after he declined to stop kneeling during the national anthem to raise awareness of racism and police brutality. In a not so surprising move, Seattle signed former Jaguars, Eagles, and Colts backup QB Stephen Morris, according to ESPN’s Adam Shefter.

Keep in mind that Morris has never even played in an NFL game. This is a clear example of racist team owners in the NFL blackballing Kaepernick for a non-violent protest that raised awareness of issues that need to be addressed in our country.

Kaepernick would also have fit in perfectly in Seattle working with QB Russell Wilson. The two seem to play a similar style of game and can both make plays with their legs. It seems as if the Seattle organization is out to get any player that uses their platform for social change. We saw how quickly that happened when Defensive End Michael Bennett got traded to the Eagles.

The fact of the matter is that Kaepernick has been to two straight NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl. He has had success in the NFL. He should not be punished simply for addressing the injustices that occur in America on an everyday basis.
