ESPN and UFC have agreed to a 5-year broadcasting deal that will start airing fights in 2019, according to ESPN and Variety. The deal is worth $1.5 billion with the yearly rate of $300 million.
ESPN will broadcast 30 total UFC events per year which include 10 main event cards. The 20 other fights will be live streamed on the ESPN+ app.
Fox used to be the major partner of UFC but their focus shifted to WWE as they spent $1 billion on a partnership with them.
