Speaking to Los Angeles High School Students at We Rise LA, 14-year-old BSO junior reporter Kaya asked Kobe Bryant what he thought of Kanye West’s recent “slavery is a choice” comments in the media.
After discussing the value of freedom of speech, Bryant makes it clear he doesn’t agree with what Kanye said but understand that he’s always in a “state of growth” and takes it for what is.
In addition to responding to questions, Kobe discussed his time in the league, lessons learned and how fear played a huge factor in his success.
