Tom Brady On If People Should Respect Players Who Kneel To Protest Against Racism And Police Brutality (Video)

Colin Kaepernick brought the conversation of racism and police brutality to the NFL in 2016 by kneeling during the national anthem during that preseason. Despite continuing to be blackballed by the NFL, he has still made a great impact in addressing these issues that plague America.

Tom Brady was interviewed by Jim Gray at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Beverly Hills and was asked about how him and his Patriots teammates discussed the kneeling. Brady went on to say that him and his teammates have had great conversations regarding these topics. Brady also added that he respects everyone’s opinions and people should have respect for everybody.

Brady said playing in the NFL has done a great job of unifying him with people of other backgrounds. He understands that having conversations with people to understand why they’re doing what they’re doing must be done.
