The Jets have missed the playoffs for seven straight seasons. Head Coach Todd Bowles is heading into his fourth season with the team and is still on the hot seat. Things are starting to get interesting though as the Jets selected QB Sam Darnold from USC with the third overall pick in this year’s draft.
Bowles was asked about his first impression of what he saw in Darnold’s first practice with the team and Bowles’ energy was surreal.
“He was great,” said Bowles loudly. “I want him to play right now!”
Bowles is definitely confident in Darnold’s potential as a franchise QB and being able to lead the Jets back to relevance. Flip the page to watch Bowles’ full comments on Darnold.
