For aficionados of men who sport waves in their hair, there is a new festival for you, the Durag Festival.
Blavity reports that the first annual DuragFest, created by Joseph Headen held at BLKMRKT, a black-owned art gallery. Taking place in Charlotte, NC, the event included a fashion show, art displays, and a wave contest.
From the looks of the photos and video, the event was a bonafide hit and will likely be twice is big next year.
