The Denver Nuggets have made it clear who they believe is their franchise star for the future. Nikola Jokic has had his team option declined for the 2018 season making him a restricted free agent this summer.
However, the Nuggets are not going to let any team contend with them this year or in the next five years as they prepare to offer Jokic a $146.5M maximum contract over the next five years.
