The Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII and with that, the opportunity to visit the White House is available.
Since Donald Trump has been elected as our President a few teams have turned down their visit to the White House. In the Eagles case, they won’t get that opportunity and their head coach Doug Pederson spoke on it according to TMZ Sports.
“I was looking forward to it, you win a world championship … you wanna be recognized that way.”
Interesting viewpoint from Pederson, he also was asked about if teams should boycott even attending the White House after the drama that was around his team, Pederson didn’t want to speak for other teams. Their goal is to put the drama behind and focus on the 2018 upcoming season.
