Donald Trump has been doing what he wants in the White House and not much is going to change in that regard.
Alice Johnson who received a life sentence for a drug crime was granted clemency according to Complex, and since has been released from prison. Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner wants to continue that trend and pardon rappers as well. It’s been reported Kim Kardashian gave Kushner a list of names who she believed should be pardoned.
According to Vanity Fair, Kushner has reportedly encouraged Trump to release incarcerated hip-hop stars, after Kardashian allegedly gave Kushner a list of people who she believed should be pardoned.
“They’re going to be pardoning a lot of people—pardons that even Obama wouldn’t do,” a source told Vanity Fair.
Though the report doesn’t name specific rappers, there are many artists who could’ve made Kardashian’s list, such as Bobby Shmurda, C-Murder, Kodak Black, and even Meek.
This didn’t sit well with Trump’s administration, they aren’t fans of the idea. The biggest question is, will the president do more? We see the agenda Kushner is pushing.
