After a relatively quiet couple of months, Mo’Nique reignited her quest to expose her Hollywood blacklisting by leaking a private conversation between herself, her husband Sydney and movie mogul Tyler Perry.
In the audio, obtained by RollingOut.com, Perry says he doesn’t want Monique to feel like she’s been treated unfairly.
“I don’t want you to feel, not one day, that you were mistreated, or that you were treated unfairly. Now, if that means that that’s what I need to do, you do that, and take it from a place of love.”
Perry goes on to say she should have been paid to promote the film Precious oversees, and he would pay her additional monies for the film after verifying what was currently coming in.
“This is Tyler Perry talking,” he said. “I’m gonna call and find out what money is coming in from Precious, and I’m going to send that to you. I’m going to send that over to you. Whatever it is, I’m gonna send it to you.”
