Tonight is the NBA Draft and a lot of madness is expected in regards to trades within the top 14 picks. Michael Porter Jr. is still a top prospect despite a back injury that sidelined him for most of his freshman season.
The Sixers were still very intrigued by Porter that they were willing to trade Markelle Fultz, and the No. 10 and 26th overall picks to put themselves in a position to be abele to draft him, league sources told The Athletic‘s Michael Scotto.
Fultz struggled with injuries also. He only overaged seven points and three assists in 14 games. He suffered a shoulder injury that was so bad that he couldn’t life it up to shoot free throws. Expect many teams to try to trade up for Porter tonight though, including Philly.
