Last year, 2 Chainz rented out a house in Atlanta and painted it all pink with the words Trap House on the front of it. This was to promote his fourth studio album ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.’ People in Atlanta loved this and there were huge crowds to take a look every single day. The album did very well with singles such as ‘It’s A Vibe‘ feat. Ty Dolla $ign and Jhene Aiko and ‘Big Amount‘ feat. Drake.
Recently, the owner of the Trap House property said that he is planning to tear it down. TMZ caught up with 2 Chainz about the situation and he said that it’s like the Statue of Liberty of Atlanta so why would they tear it down.
2 Chainz added that he changed the negative connotation of the word ‘trap house’ and turned it into something positive by holding church services and giving back to the local Atlanta community.
If it had to come down to it, 2 Chainz would speak to Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms about keeping the trap house up. Flip the page to watch 2 Chainz plead his case for keeping the Pink Trap House.
