Former UCLA star and Sacramento King Tyler Honeycutt’s life was cut way too short this morning. Per TMZ Sports, Honeycutt was found dead in his LA home after an apparent shootout with local police.
LAPD said gun wounds were seen on Honeycutt after the shootout with police. They said it wasn’t a result from the shooting but from Honeycutt taking his own life. The shootout lasted hours and that’s when the SWAT team went into his house and found him dead.
Honeycutt’s mom also said that he was acting unusual the day before. Honeycutt spent two seasons in a UCLA uniform before turning pro and playing in Sacramento for two years.
