This is obviously the nuclear option, but Stephen A. Smith just went on Sportscenter to say that there are some executives who believe Kawhi will threaten the Spurs with sitting out the season.
Because he has an injury he can simply say he isn’t healthy enough to play.
That might scare off other teams from wanting to trade with Spurs as well. As we get more updates we will let you know.
