It looks like Mark Zuckerberg, Roger Goodell, and Robert Kraft are spending time together this week for an annual rich people meeting.
TMZ reports that the Facebook chief and NFL giants are spending time with each other and other rich people at the Sun Valley Resort in Idaho to do something together that likely involves wealth.
The camp — Allen & Co.’s annual invite-only business conference — has been credited with helping lay the bricks for huge deals like Disney’s merger with ABC and Verizon’s acquisition of Yahoo! in the past.
In addition to Zuckerberg, Goodell, and Kraft, ex-Steelers coach Bill Cowher is also in attendance while BusinesInsider.com provides a few more details on the attendees.
This year’s attendee list includes Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, GM’s Mary Barra, Slack’s Stewart Butterfield, Apple’s Tim Cook, Walt Disney’s Bob Iger and Rupert Murdoch and his sons, to name a few according to Vanity Fair. Both Shari Redstone and Leslie Moonves are invited, which will be interesting as the two are still locked in battle for control for CBS. Most controversial, perhaps, is that disgraced broadcast journalist Charlie Rose has scored an invitation, reports Bloomberg.
Maybe Facebook is making a push to take a bigger role in the NBA market. Or maybe they’re just sitting around doing what ridiculously rich people do which is unbeknownst to me because I’m poor.
