Saquon Barkley has left Jay-Z’s Roc Nation sports agency for marketing purposes.
Darren Rovell of ESPN reports that the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft will remain with Roc Nation agent Kim Miale for contracts and football matters but will now be represented by the Creative Artists Agency for marketing purposes.
Under Roc Nation, the former Penn State running back signed a four-year, fully guaranteed $31.2 million rookie deal with the Giants. Barkley won’t be the only superstar on the CAA roster. The agency already represents NFL standouts, Julio Jones, J.J. Watt, DeAndre Hopkins, Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, and a host of other current and retired professional athletes.
