Eagles Wide Receiver Jordan Matthews is an Eagle again this season after spending last season with the Bills. He was in Philly to start his career from 2014-2016.
Matthews is a dad now and has a very amusing reason for why that is. He had his child during his short tenure with the Bills and according to NBC Sports, Matthews said that he became a dad because there isn’t anything else to do in Buffalo.
“When I was in Buffalo, there was like nothing to do there, except have fun with your wife. She got pregnant,” said Matthews. “So we always say we got a Buffalo baby. Ain’t nothing to do there, except each other.”
Matthews and his wife Cheyna had their child in August. Cheyna also plays soccer for the Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League. Buffalo is in the state of New York but isn’t New York City so a lot of people reasonate with Matthews, even Buffalo natives.
