In the Celtics’ first regular season game of the 2017-18 regular season, Guard Gordon Hayward broke his leg gruesomely and was out for the rest of the year. He has since made significant progress and returned in the Celtics’ first preseason game against the Hornets and finished with 10 points.
Hayward is definitely still recovering from that horrible injury and his wife Robyn is making sure everyone knows. She posted an Instagram story with the caption “If anyone fouls my husband I will find you.”
It will be interesting to see if Hayward does stay healthy this season as he’s a key piece for the Celtics’ championship aspirations when effective. Boston was without Hayward and Kyrie Irving in last year’s Eastern Conference Finals against the Cavaliers and fell in seven games.
