We all remember the recent Wild ‘N Out episode a few weeks back where Azealia Banks was a guest on the show and didn’t take the jokes that were being made about her too kindly. Comedian DC Young Fly went at her the most and Banks replied by making it known that Wild ‘n’ Out is the ceiling for Fly and that he won’t be able to get any work besides the show.
Nick Cannon, the host of the show on MTV for 10 years, recently spoke with DJ Vlad in a new interview regarding the incident. Cannon believed that since Banks is known for fighting words so they’d playfully try it too but it backfired. He added that she was screaming and yelling once the show concluded backstage.
Things escalated even more following the show as Cannon said that Fly tried to apologize to Banks but then she threatened to spit on his face. Cannon just wanted the show to be a good time for everyone so he didn’t expect things to go down the way they did. He did want the audience to be for her but then saw that they turned against her during the show. He was very courteous to Banks as well as he made it known to her that he can scrap any segment that she didn’t want aired.
