Tyronn Lue On This Season Being More About Lessons Than Wins After Losing LeBron

The Cavs lost LeBron James to the Lakers this offseason so many will expect them to take a step back heavily. Kevin Love will be expected to be the man as he is their only star left and should put up some of the numbers that he did in Minnesota since he’s the man now.

Tyronn Lue was asked at media day about expectations for the 2018-19 season and according to Sports Illustrated, ” It’s not about wins and losses, it’s about wins and lessons.” That sounds like an excuse for when a potential average season is on the way.

I don’t expect Cleveland to be that bad since they still have Love but they will feel the effects of losing James and Kyrie Irving in two seasons. A reasonable expectation for the Cavs is an eighth seed or a trip to the lottery.
