WWE superstars Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton have been in a heated feud dating back to WWE’s Extreme Rules PPV back in July this year, after Orton cost Hardy the WWE United States Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura. The two have been connected ever since and on Sunday, during WWE’s Hell In A Cell PPV in San Antonio, Texas, the two superstars attempted to settle their feud in a Hell In A Cell match.
During the no-holds barred match inside the steel cage, Hardy attempted to conquer his foe by climbing a ladder to the top of the cell and attempting a splash off of the cell structure itself and through a table to defeat Orton. Unfortunately for Hardy, Orton, in a timely manner, was able to move out of the way of Hardy’s attempted splash, leading to Hardy crashing and burning off of the cell and through the table, costing him the match and securing the victory for Orton.
