Kawhi Leonard was finally traded to the Toronto Raptors this summer after months of bad blood with his Spurs team. The question that now looms is if Leonard will re-sign with Toronto or take his talents to the Lakers or even the Clippers to play in Los Angeles regardless.
Jalen Rose was on Get Up yesterday and discussed the likely possibilities for Leonard in 2019. Rose believes that for this season, Leonard can be dominant in a wide open Eastern Conference and dominate like LeBron James.
Rose concluded by saying that in the event that Leonard does leave the Raptors, it won’t be to go to the Lakers. He thinks that Leonard wouldn’t want to play in the shadow of James. The Clippers would be the likely team for him because he would be the number one option and would still play in his hometown.
