Blac Chyna has been highly publicized for her relationships with Tyga, Rob Kardashian, and finessing the Kardashian clan as a whole. Many have the misconception that messing with the Kardashians put her on the map but in a new interview with The Daily Mail, she credits Drake as she was in Miami dancing at Johnson & Wales University.
“I was already famous before then,” said Chyna. I already was, even back in D.C., I took over that, went to Miami and I was a celebrity down there. Came to LA, same thing. I kind of ran all three states and I’m actually kind of proud of that. I would consider myself a celebrity, which is like a celebrated person. So, it’s up to you to make me this person.”
After she graduated high school in 2006, that’s when she hit the strip club so she could pay college tuition. She realized that she looked good so getting in that profession would not be a problem at all. While in school, she was a business management major.
Chyna was dancing at King of Diamonds, one of the hottest strip clubs in Miami. Things went well as far as being able to pay for school as she revealed that she made $15,000 in one night. Her continuing to dance ended up having her meeting Drake.
“I actually had a booking and I think it was in Tennessee,” said Chyna. “These guys introduced me to Drake, and Drake you know put me in a song and I started doing all the music videos and the magazines.”
The “put me in a song” reference is to Drake’s 2010 record ‘Miss Me‘ as he said “Call up King of Diamonds and tell Chyna it’ll be worth the flight. I be at my table stackin’ dollars till the perfect height.” He also put her in videos. The relationship with Drake resulted in her meeting Tyga, who was also signed with Young Money. She went on to have a son named Cairo with him.
