Cardi B On Toning Down Her Lyrics To Not Offend Offset & Why She Had To Confront Nicki Minaj At Fashion Week

Cardi B recently starred in W Magazine’s November issue and a number of topics were discussed such as what provoked the fight with Nicki Minaj and her relationship with husband Offset.

Cardi B revealed that she’s more mindful about what she puts in her lyrics now because she doesn’t want to offend Offset. She also added that she doesn’t even want to use men in her music videos anymore due to respecting Offset. She also added that the same restrictions go for him in his videos.

She also finally spoke on the real reason for her fight with Nicki Minaj at New York Fashion Week. Cardi said that Nicki liked a comment that bashed Cardi’s skills as a mother and it was on sight from then.

“I’m a good-ass f*cking mom,” said Cardi. “So for somebody that don’t have a child to like that comment?”

Cardi also dismissed the criticism of fighting at a high class event like NY Fashion Week by saying that she wouldn’t have been able to catch her at a regular place such as a grocery store or down the block. This comes after many fans on social media did not approve of where she decided to handle the beef.

Despite a little drama, Cardi still maintains her stardom as arguably the best female rapper in the game right now. She continued to prove that she can consistently put out hits.
