The Knicks managed to get their second victory of the season and we couldn’t help but notice that some players had an edge as they played. We caught up with Frank Ntilikina during the post-game and spoke about Rasheed Wallace’s Influence on the team.
A few things looked absolutely great during Monday night’s game. The Knicks faced the Nets for the fourth time this month and were hungry for that second victory. Although they got 5 losses on the board, this team has been fun to watch. It’s a young team that’s still trying to figure things out as they have great leadership from coach Fizdale.
During Sunday’s practice, the Knicks invited Rasheed Wallace to help mentor this young team and pretty much motivate them. Rookie Mitchell Robinson said that Wallace told him he sucked. On Monday’s game, Robinson finished with 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. It may not look like much but this shows improvement because he was all in on Monday night.
We spoke to Frank Ntilikina about that Wallace Influence and even chimed in on how he’s blossoming as a player. Ladies and gentleman, Ntilikina might be coming out of his shell.
The Knicks face the Pacers tonight at 8 pm EST.
