During ACC’s media day, questions ranged from the FBI probe, championships and the NBA’s counter to college basketball, the G-League. Every coach answered differently concerning their thoughts on the new initiatives to pull recruits especially the 5-month contract with a $125k price tag, but one question I had was what does this look like for the black athlete in the long term and does this impact more than their short-term goals on financial stability. FSU head coach Leonard Hamilton, who is against the new idea, gave a detailed answer to a complex question.
