How The LAPD Plans To Prevent Dodgers Players’ Homes From Being Robbed While They Are Trying To Win World Series

The Dodgers will appear in their second straight World Series tonight as they take on the Red Sox, who’ve been nothing but dominant in this postseason. According to TMZ Sports, the LAPD is now reaching out to the team in order to prevent more break-ins at their players’ houses.

One major reason for this precaution is because LA’s Yasiel Puig has had his home broken into four times over the past year and a half. TMZ sources say that LAPD has also been in contact with security at MLB, players’ agents, assistants, and other personnel within the Dodgers’ organization.

Police want to make sure that the security systems at the players’ homes are working properly along with adding personal security to watch over the premises. These break-ins in the Los Angeles area have been way too common this year so whatever measures need to be taken during a huge event like the World Series needs to be handled.
