The Houston Texans play the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football. Dolphins quarterback Brock Osweiler will return to Houston to play against his former team. Osweiler played down the game, telling Pro Football Talk, it’s “just another game.” His ex-teammate Jadeveon Clowney sees it a little differently.
He’s not here anymore, so I don’t really care for him. I know we didn’t win a lot with him. Just trying to go against him now and just try to get after him this week up front, make him rattled in the pocket. Hopefully he’ll throw a couple interceptions, a couple picks.
Clowney is relishing the opportunity to go after Osweiler. When a quarterback changes teams and comes back to play against his former mates, the defensive lineman can’t wait for the opportunity to hit a quarterback they weren’t allowed to touch in practice.
Clowney is coming off a two-sack game against Jacksonville on Sunday and while the Dolphins lost to the Lions, Osweiler didn’t play terribly. A short week and on the road against a motivated defense. Advantage Clowney and the Texans.
