Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury says the upcoming fight between himself and reigning WBC champion Deontay Wilder was a simple fight to negotiate, unlike his past fight with Wladimir Klitschko and most recently with Anthony Joshua.
Speaking to BSO, and other media of the press during his workout in Santa Monica on Thursday, Fury says negotiating in the past with Wladimir Klitschko and his team (who he defeated in November 2015 to become the unified champion and lineal champion) was an absolute nightmare.
As for Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, he makes the startling revelation that Joshua turned down $80M for a fight while Wilder was quality to negotiate with and it only took their teams a week to come to terms.
