Following a disappointing loss to Ohio State, head coach James Franklin lost his cool when a fan said he made a bad call.
Pennlive.com captured video of the fan giving his thoughts on the game. Franklin at first responds calmly but loses it when the fan repeats that he made a bad call.
Video taken by PennLive in the south end zone shows a fan in the student section yelling at Franklin that the Lions should have passed on a 4th and 5 that resulted in a Miles Sanders run for a loss of two yards that ended Penn State’s comeback attempt.
“That was a bad call,” the fan says.
Franklin is then heard responding: “I appreciate your input” as he continues walking toward the tunnel that leads to the locker room.
The fan gets in one more comment, though, when he says: “I love you, but that’s a bad call.”
It’s at that moment when Franklin stops walking and turns in the direction of the fan before he’s stopped by a Penn State staff member. The head coach made no additional comments before finally heading underneath the stadium.
