Mystikal won’t be a free man anytime soon as a juge has denied him $3 million in bond relating to one count of first-degree rape and one count of second-degree kidnapping, according to KSLA 12. The incident dates back to October 2016 when the rapper was involved in sexual assault at a casino in Shreveport, Lousiana. The bond was denied by the judge due to being incarcerated in the past.
Mystikal has since been held at Caddo Correctional Center. Mystikal’s lawyer had also recently requested bail of $500,000 after filing a motion. Mystikal had since maintained his innocence as he pleaded not guilty to these charges. His next hearing his set to take place on October 25.
Mystikal dropped six studio albums from 1994-2001. Among the hit records he released were ‘Yall Ain’t Ready Yet,’ ‘Shake Ya Ass,’ and ‘Danger.’
