Jon Jones is adamant that his most recent positive drug test result is an anomaly, and the UFC’s decision to move this weekend’s fight to Los Angeles, that he wants to undergo multiple rounds of testing over the next 3-6 months.
On Friday, Lance Pugmire of the LA Times tweeted that Jones agreed to submit to 10 steroid tests over the next 3-6 months with VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association). This comes after yesterday’s press conference where Jones went full heel when a reporter asked about his positive drug tests to which he replied “she sucked” and she should do “better journalism”.
During his time at the dais, Dana White said moving UFC 232 from Las Vegas to Los Angeles will allegedly cost UFC $6M. When asked about the increased amount of expenses for the fighters on the card, via taxes and medical exams, White quipped that it was better than not fighting and not making anything at all.
