Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics did a good deed in the Boston community yesterday as they visited Boston Children’s Hospital to see children who are undergoing treatments. The team sung Christmas songs such as “Jingle Bells” and had an overall great time.
One child decided to have some fun at Irving and mention how Duke lost to Gonzaga a few weeks ago. Irving took it like a champ but still said “You didn’t have to bring Duke into it. Duke is fine, we were good! We’re good!!” That’s why you so mad, ’cause we’re Duke!!” Irving played one season of college ball with Duke in 2011 before heading to the NBA Draft. The two continued to have friendly sports debates.
