On Christmas day, the trailer for Jordan Peele’s upcoming horror/thriller film ‘Us’ was released and social media was set ablaze.
The trailer of the film, which stars Winston Duke and Lupita Nyong’o, shows a married couple who experience a home invasion by their dopplegängers (aka people who look like them), after a trip to the beach. Other than that, the full story is being kept under wraps.
What did stand out was the use of rap hit “I Got 5 On It” by Luniz playing in the trailer. It starts as rap history lesson during a car ride but ultimately is slowed down into a spooky anthem for the film which debuts on March 15.
